Understanding to guard us

How amazing is it that God wants discretion to protect us and understanding to guard us? He is so good to show us what we need to know and how we need to act. He cares for us like no other. He is good and looking out for our best interest.

May wisdom enter our hearts. May knowledge be pleasant to our souls.

For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease,
without fear of harm.

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair – every good path.
For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.
