What is Jesus saying to me that requires supernatural courage?
There were two who walked on water. Jesus wasn’t the only one. Peter had supernatural courage. Jesus said one word. It was “come”. Peter did.
What is Jesus saying to me that requires supernatural courage? It could be just one word.
May I move at at His word. May I have supernatural courage. May I live in the new plan.
Will I keep my eye on the goal?
We need to keep our eyes on the goal. We want all that God has for us. When we want something else He clears our eyes and blurred vision out. We are on the right track. We have taken the right road. We must stay on it.
Now I know that I don’t have it all together. I haven’t made it. With His help, I am on my way though. Together we are well on our way. He has reached out for me. He has reached out for you. Together we are experts.
We are off and running. We can reach the goal. It is a wonderful prize.
May we have supernatural courage.
Do you want more courage?
We all need more courage. We should pray to be bolder.
What does it take for more courage in our lives? Faith!
We must believe our Father has great things in mind for us.
“A man of courage is also full of faith.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero.
All who wander are not lost. Israel knew how to get to the promised land. They didn’t have the courage to go.
Wandering around is not a sign you are lost. In your heart, you probably know where God wants you to go. We need to be bold. He gives us faith and courage.
Let’s head on up to the promised land. God has given it to us. Be brave. God is with us.
All who wander are not lost. Israel knew how to get to the promised land. They didn’t have the courage to go.

Are we bold enough?
The apostles had already received the power of the Holy Spirit after Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended to Heaven to rule with His Father. The were arrested when a crippled man was healed. They were released from jail and warned not to talk about Jesus. The were bold beyond believe already.
Yet, they prayed for more boldness and fearless courage. And God gave it to them.
We may think we have enough. We don’t. May God give us more. May God give it to us now.
“And now they’re at it again! Take care of their threats and give your servants fearless confidence in preaching your Message, as you stretch out your hand to us in healings and miracles and wonders done in the name of your holy servant Jesus.” (Acts 4:29 MSG)
“We must build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear.” ~~Martin Luther King, Jr.
Take Heart
Many days, there is a whole lot of worrying going on. Fear can cripple. How many times does God come to us and say, “Fear not”? That is one of His great themes. Trust in Him. He is in control. He didn’t bring us this far to leave us now.
Here is the good news. Jesus has overcome everything. He is seated at the right hand of the Father. All is well. It is finished.
“But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
—– Jesus,John 16:33
Courage
99 out of 100 things we worry about never happen. And yet, we continue to be afraid. Jesus is ever present letting us to know that we need to take courage. He says “It is I”. He is here. Do we hear Him. He says “Don’t be afraid”. Do we hear Him.
He gives us courage in His world. His world is here and now. On earth, as it is in heaven right now.
Jesus said, “Take courage! It is I.
Don’t be afraid.” Mark 6:50
May I take courage. May I have courage. May I hear Jesus.
Asking for more
If Peter was anything, he was nothing but bold. But it seems that he was also asking for more. When I have my eyes on our Master Jesus that is the way it is. Jesus wasn’t the only one to walk on water. Peter did too.
Jesus had supernatural courage. He didn’t do anything but what he saw His Father doing. He had His eyes focused on God. AND we serve a bold God.
May I have more boldness and fearless confidence. Water longs to be walked on again!
As soon as the meal was finished, he insisted that the disciples get in the boat and go on ahead to the other side while he dismissed the people. With the crowd dispersed, he climbed the mountain so he could be by himself and pray. He stayed there alone, late into the night.Meanwhile, the boat was far out to sea when the wind came up against them and they were battered by the waves.Â
At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came toward them walking on the water. They were scared out of their wits. “A ghost!” they said, crying out in terror. But Jesus was quick to comfort them. “Courage, it’s me. Don’t be afraid.” Peter, suddenly bold, said, “Master, if it’s really you, call me to come to you on the water.”He said, “Come ahead.” Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus.
But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!” Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?” The two of them climbed into the boat, and the wind died down. The disciples in the boat, having watched the whole thing, worshiped Jesus, saying, “This is it! You are God’s Son for sure!” Matthew 14
It tickles Him to no end: A Poem
There are times
that I seem to know
what I am doing.
Some times, not all times.
There are other times
I don’t.
There is no logic to any of it.
No wisdom at all some days.
I need wisdom.
I want His guidance.
When I need it,
I can simply ask my heavenly Father.
He loves to help me.
It tickles Him to no end.
AND,
I can count on His help.
I won’t be condescended to
when I ask for it.
He won’t make fun of me.
I need to ask boldly.
I want supernatural courage; His courage.
I need to believe
He will give it to me.
I can’t have any second thoughts.
He loves to help me.
